Air Covered Yarns

We offer elastic and durable air covered yarns which we import from Far East and European Union countries. The body of joined yarn consists of exceptionally durable elastomer yarn (polyurethane), while the outer layer is made of pneumatically joined parallel polyamide fibres. Joined yarns are an excellent addition which add elasticity to woven fabrics - they improve their performance parameters and properties of products. 

Types and characteristics of joined yarns:

• composition: elastomer and polyamide or elastomer and polyester,
• effect: raw white, coloured, semi-matte, shine, various configurations with an interesting final effect are possible;
• thickness range: 15 -300 dtex, other yarn thickness values – on individual orders;  
• application: seamless, flat and round knitting, weaving and hosiery;
• intended use: production of socks, bathing costumes (elastic knitted fabrics).
