Covered yarns

We offer elastic and durable braided yarns which we import from Far East and European Union countries. The body of braided yarns consists of exceptionally elastic elastomer yarn (polyurethane) braided with durable polyamide yarn. Owing to such a combination, hosiery products are characterized by much better performance parameters (reduction of undesirable pressure) and excellent aesthetics.

Types and characteristics of covered yarns:

• composition: elastomer and smooth polyamide (FDY) or textured polyamide (DTY);
• yarn type: single and double braiding;
• effect: raw white, coloured, semi-matte, shine, various configurations with an interesting final effect are possible;
• thickness range: 15 -300 dtex, other yarn thickness values – on individual orders; 
• application: mostly hosiery;
• intended use: production of tights and socks.
